On its debut Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5 sold over 2.5 million copies, it broke the record for the fastest selling game on the PlayStation 5 in a 24 hour period. Its ratings backs it up with 5 stars on GamesRadar, 10/10 in Inverse, 9.5/10 by Game Informer, 10/10 by PlayStation Universe, and 4.5/5 by ComicBook.com. Its Global player rating with 96% of the ratings being 5 stars.

It has been a total of 6 years since the first Marvel Spider-Man game came out. However, not every game is perfect and fans have called out that the game at times is a bit buggy saying that at times Peter Parker will randomly get stuck or the game will freeze. Another downside of the game is that it’s only a ps5 exclusive, meaning in order to play the game, a ps5 is required. However, that hasn’t stopped fans from loving it.
