Popular anime and manga series, Komi Can’t Communicate returned for its 2nd season. Episode 1 has already aired in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 6, 2022 (effectively April 7, due to the programming block starting at 12.00 AM).

Komi Can’t Communicate is a Romantic-Comedy/Slice of Life anime and manga which began manga serialization on May 18, 2016, and aired its anime starting on October 7, 2021. It follows the high school lives of Shoko Komi and Hitohito Tadano at Itan Private high school.

Komi has a communication disorder which has hindered her ability to talk to others and make friends all her life.

That is until she meets Tadano, who becomes her first friend and promises to help her achieve her goal of making 100 friends. The story focuses on Komi’s ventures of seeking out new friendships, as well as the growing relationship between her and Tadano.

The entire cast of season 1 will be reprising their roles again for season 2. Along with some new voices for the upcoming characters in season 2.

Studio OLM will be animating season 2 again as they did with season 1. Season 2 has been confirmed to be available globally on Netflix starting on April 27, 2022. Episodes will be released weekly starting then. As of writing this, it has not been confirmed whether or not season 2 of Komi Can’t Communicate will be receiving an English dub. Although due to Komi being a Netflix anime, it can be assumed.

Many anime fans were instantly in love with the Komi Can’t Communicate anime when it first released in late 2021 and even more delighted to have a second season confirmed on the last episode of season 1. Expect to see more fun adventures with Komi and to explore more in depth to the budding romance of Komi and Tadano in Komi Can’t Communicate season 2.
