Hello Freedom Falcons ! My name is Elizabeth Maria Jacobo and I am your A&E editor. My job is to provide information on art topics that happen here on our campus as well as add in topics that appeal to you all. Arts and Entertainment will never have you bored. With so many articles to read I'm sure there will be something that interests you all. If you ever have any suggestions for the newspaper or for my section in particular please feel free to email me!

Some more about myself is that I am 16 years old. I'm a junior. I took journalism in my junior year because I took journalism in middle school and was interested to see how it would be like in high school. So far I really enjoy this class, the bond and friendships I've made in journalism is something that I'm really grateful for and makes me happy that I took this class. At first when I realized that the other half of my job was to code, I was very nervous but after countless ups and down with coding, I'm proud to say that coding is something that I enjoy doing and would consider it a hobby of mine.

I enjoy listening to music and I'm open to all genres of music, if you ever recommend me a song to listen I would love to listen to it and I'll most likely add it to my playlist. A couple of my favorite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, BTS, and NCT 127.

Speaking of music, I have a Spotify if you would like to follow me there! @emariagjacobo :) or you can scroll up to the code and take a picture of it. You will need to open up the spotify app, click search and on the top right corner, theres a camera icon and thats how you take a picture of my code ! That code will lead you to my account! If you are vviewing my profile from home you can just click on the code and it will take you straight to my account, otherwise if viewing from school it will say that the site can't be reached.

A little more about me is that I like to read whenever I have the time to. One of my favorite books ever is "Please Look After Mom" by Shin Kyung-sook. The main purpose of the book is to show the stuggles that mothers go through for their children and how sometimes they lose themselves and their identity in the process. The book is beatifully written and if you ever have the time to read it I would strongly suggest that you do! Another book that I throughly enjoyed reading was " Last Night At The Telegraph Club" by Malinda Lo. The book is set in the 1950s in San Francisco. The book is about a Chinese girl discovering herself and her identity.

This is Beabadoobee, She is one of my favorite artits and I would recommend her music to anyone who is interested in new music !

Out of all of the pictures I have with family, this one has to be my favorite one due to the fact that this picture took place in Los Angeles. My grandpa, the one in the middle passed away a few years ago and this was the last picture we took of him with the entire family in it. This picture holds a special place in my heart. If you're having troubling spotting me I'm the one on the bottom right corner !
